Deposits

4. Custom Orders

For custom cakes and desserts:

  • Design requests will be discussed prior to order confirmation.
  • While we strive to match inspiration photos, exact replicas cannot be guaranteed.
  • Colors, decorations, and final appearance may vary slightly due to the handmade nature of our products.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

Custom Orders

Deposits for custom orders are non-refundable.

Order Cancellations

Cancellations must be made within the timeframe provided at the time of booking.

Refunds

Due to the perishable nature of baked goods, refunds are generally not provided once an order has been completed or picked up.

If there is an issue with your order, please contact us within 24 hours.

6. Pickup and Delivery

Customers are responsible for:

  • Arriving at the scheduled pickup time
  • Providing accurate delivery information

Basil & Co. is not responsible for damages to products once they have been picked up or delivered.

Customers are also responsible for proper storage and handling of baked goods after pickup or delivery.

7. Allergies and Dietary Information

Our products may contain or come into contact with common allergens including:

  • Eggs
  • Soy
  • Peanuts
  • Tree nuts

While we take precautions, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

Customers with severe allergies should use discretion when ordering.

Return and Refund Policy

Refund Policy

1. General Policy

At Basil & Co., we take pride in providing high-quality baked goods and desserts. Because our products are perishable and made to order, all sales are generally final.

However, customer satisfaction is important to us. If there is an issue with your order, please contact us within 24 hours of pickup or delivery so we can review the situation.

2. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued under the following circumstances:

  • The product has been fully or mostly consumed
  • The product was damaged after pickup or delivery
  • The product falls, melts, or becomes damaged due to improper handling
  • The customer changes their mind after pickup or delivery
  • The product was stored improperly after leaving our care

Once a product leaves the possession of Basil & Co., the customer assumes responsibility for proper handling, transportation, and storage.

3. Custom Orders and Event Cakes

Custom cakes and specialty desserts are made specifically for each customer.

  • Deposits for custom orders are non-refundable.
  • If an order is canceled after production has begun, the order will not be eligible for a refund.

4. Order Accuracy

If an order is incorrect due to an error made by Basil & Co., we will work to correct the issue which may include:

  • Replacement of the product
  • Partial refund
  • Store credit

Photographic evidence may be required when submitting a concern.

5. Allergy Disclaimer

Our kitchen may handle common allergens including:
